All persons desiring to submit an article for the Merrimack Village District Warrant will please have it in the hands of the Board of Commissioners not later than February 19, 2010 at 5:00pm

Filing for any office of the Merrimack Village District will open February 10, 2010 and the deadline for filing will be February 19, 2010 at 5:00pm at the District Office, 2 Greens Pond Road, Merrimack, New Hampshire. The filing is for the following offices:

Three Year Term
Two Year Term

The Annual Meeting of the Merrimack Village District is on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 7:00pm in the Cafeteria of the Merrimack High School.

PUBLIC HEARING
Merrimack Village District (MVD)
The MVD Board of Commissioners (BOC) does hereby give notice that there will be a Public Hearing on Monday, February 22, 2010 at 7:00pm in the Little Theater at the Merrimack High School, 38 McElwain Street, Merrimack, NH to discuss the 2010-2011 proposed Operating Budget and Warrants. The BOC will meet in session immediately after the public hearing to take action on the proposed 2010-2011 Operating Budget and Warrant Articles that will come before the voters on March 30, 2010 for their consideration and action.

This hearing is being held in accordance with the requirements of NH RSA 40:13.

LEGAL NOTICE — PUBLIC HEARING
Merrimack Village District (MVD)
Proposed Municipal Bond and Notes

The MVD Board of Commissioners does hereby give notice that there will be a Public Hearing to discuss the issuance of municipal bonds and notes in compliance with RSA 33:8-a. This hearing will be held immediately after the conclusion of the Commissioners Budget Hearing which begins at 7:00pm on Monday, February 22, 2010 in the Merrimack High School Little Theater at 38 McElwain Street, Merrimack, NH. (The exact time the Bond Hearings will begin depends on input and discussion provided during the Budget Hearing). The Bond Hearing is being held to provide input from the citizens of Merrimack as to the raising and appropriating of money for the following purposes:

  • Construction of approximately 9400’LF of 16” water main on a portion of Continental Boulevard, Camp Sargent, Amherst and/or a portion of Turkey Hill Road- $2,800,000.
  • Rehabilitation of Well #6 to include improvements at Wells #7 and #8 to facilitate a blending of supplies - $835,000.
