WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

2011 Update

The purpose of this project is to improve flow capacity from sources of supply in South Merrimack to meet demands in areas of North Merrimack.  The project limits begin on Continental Boulevard just south of Industrial Drive and continue north on Continental Boulevard and Camp Sargent Road onto Amherst Road, to the intersection with Turkey Hill Road.  The project extends 3,700 LF of water main on Turkey Hill Road, from Amherst Rd to Summit Road.  The project will be further extended in 2011 on Turkey Hill Road beginning at West Chamberlain Street to the Turkey Hill Tank.  The work includes:

  • New 16” ductile iron water main – 4,100 LF

  • New water service connections

  • New hydrants
