CONTINENTAL BOULEVARD AREA
WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
Merrimack Village District

 

Summary
The purpose of this project is to improve flow capacity from sources of supply in South Merrimack to meet demands in areas of North Merrimack. The project limits begin on Continental Boulevard just south of Industrial Drive and continue north on Continental Boulevard and Camp Sargent Road onto Amherst Road, to the intersection with Turkey Hill Road. The project has been extended to include approximately 3,700 LF on Turkey Hill Road, from Amherst Rd to Summit Road. The work includes:

• New 16" ductile iron water main.
• New water service connections.
• New hydrants

The project is funded by a $2.8M Bond approved by voters at the MVD March 2010 Annual Meeting.
