caps and leave materials in original labeled containers.
- Pack
containers in sturdy boxes and pad with newspaper.
- Sort
paint, pesticides and household cleaners and pack separately.
- Avoid
spills and NEVER MIX CHEMICALS.
- Never
smoke while handling hazardous materials.
- Use
up products so there is nothing to dispose.
- Donate
leftover paints and other products to a local service organization.
- Recycle
used motor oil at your landfill or service station.
- Never
pour harmful chemicals down the drain or on the ground.
- Take
your household toxics to a household hazardous waste collection
site.
