The
Merrimack Village District Board of Commissioners consists
of five members that meet monthly or at the call
of the Chair. The Commissioners are elected by
the registered voters at the Annual Meeting and
strive to provide high quality water and service
to the rate payers of the district. The positions of Moderator, Clerk and Treasurer are elected officers and are also voted to office at the Annual Meeting.

Chairman
James (Jim) O'Neil (Term ends - 2008)
Jim was re-elected to the Board in 2005. He retired in 2001 after serving
30 years in the Merrimack School District, the last 13 years as the Superintendent
of Schools. Jim has worked on numerous boards and committees both locally
and at the state level. Jim is also a Merrimack State Representative - Hillsborough
District 19 and serves on the education committee.

Vice Chair
Lon Woods (Term ends - 2009)
Lon had previously served on the MVD Board of Commissioners
for many years and was elected again in 2006 to serve a 3
year term. Lon has also served the Town of Merrimack in many
capacities as a member of the Charter Study Commission, School
Board and Budget Committee.

Commissioner
Tom Nutting (Term ends - 2009)
Tom was recently re-elected in April 2006 to a three-year term as a commissioner.
He was Chairman for 2005-2006 and remains Chairman for 2006-2007. He served
as Vice Chairman during the 04-05 fiscal year and was liaison to the Budget
Committee in 2003-2004. He is a former owner of an electrical business in
Merrimack.

Commissioner Anthony "Tony" Pellegrino (Term ends - 2008)
Tony was just elected to the Board in March 2005. He was a commissioner previously
for more than twelve (12) years. He has also served the Town of Merrimack
as a selectman and member of the Conservation Commission.

Commissioner George "Chip" Keller (Term ends - 2010)
Chip was elected to the Board of Commissioners in March
2007 at the Merrimack Village District Annual Meeting. He is a registered
land surveyor with The State of New Hampshire and is associated
with Meridian Land Services Inc. and is the former owner of George
F. Keller Inc. Civil Engineers. |
