United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) – Water Division

US EPA – Water Division is responsible for setting the standards for drinking water quality. The United States Environmental Protection Agency oversees the states, localities and water suppliers, like MVD, who implement those standards 


 NH Department of Environmental Services Water Division-Drinking Water & Groundwater Bureau (NHDES DWGB)

NHDES DWGB – is responsible for ensuring NH water systems, such as MVD, comply with the US EPA’s Federal Safe Drinking Water Act, which are the federal laws that ensure the quality of Americans’ drinking water.
