Note: MVD has not had a rate increase since 2011. Previously slated rate increases were deferred while the impact of the PFAS issue was assessed as MVD had sufficient funds to maintain operations at the time. In addition, the rate increases will result in MVD’s rate in FY 2022 still being lower than the average rate in NH as of 2019.

Did you know. . . MVD’s water only cost 0.003¢ per gallon?
Water Usage Rate = $2.32 per 100 cubic feet
100 cubic feet  = 748 gallons
$2.32/748 gal = .003¢ per gallon


Billing:

Normally, bills are sent quarterly in 3 cycles. The property’s location determines the billing cycle and which months bills are sent. Due to the rate increase all customers were billed in July 2019; regardless if this was the normal billing quarter.

Bills that were NOT in the normal billing quarter were NOT billed for a full quarter of USAGE
the bill included usage charges only through July 1 as well as any applicable flat rate changes (meter, hydrant, fire sprinkler, etc.) – Note: the flat rate services were charged for the full quarter at the prior rate.
