The property owner listed on the current deed recorded with the Hillsborough County Registry of Deeds and reflected in the Town of Merrimack, NH Tax Records is always the responsible party for the service and payment of service from MVD.
For rental property locations: Regardless of any lease/rental agreement, the property owner is the ultimate party responsible for the service and payment of service from MVD. Tenants are permitted to transfer service to an account in their name that is separate from the owner’s account in order to make payment of bills; this does not relieve the property owner of any responsibility for the service or payment of service to MVD.
